St. Pitty’s Day 3-20-2011

St. Pitty’s day is becoming an annual tradition at Animal Friends.  It started following the rescue of multiple Pit Bulls from an abusive situation near St. Patrick’s Day in 2008.  Because there have been so many people who feel the need to breed these dogs to fight, the Pit Bull and related breeds have gotten a bad name.  St. Pitty’s day is an educational event, meant to inform the public about the Pit Bull and allow them to interact with the adoptable (and lovable) Pit Bulls in the shelter.
